Audie Murphy comes running in the door and the doctor lets him know his mom has passed on.
On Audie's coveralls on the back side is a label I recognized instantly.
There was a time a company was proud to predominantly display the UNION MADE IN THE USA label!!!

Though he had emotional problems from PTSD He was thinking about running for office before he died in a plane crash.

Pamela Murphy worked for 35 years as patient liaison at the Sepulveda, CA VA hospital (in L.A.'s San Fernando Valley). She was such a beloved figure there that when the VA planned to cut her job, the reaction of local vets was overwhelming and the VA reversed the decision. She was a wonderful person in her own right.
