OK, this is a broad brush and a simple poll. Just a basic question, Do you trust police?

Same goes for the military.

5. I voted no but I trust our local cops pretty much. Easy to say for a middle aged white guy.

I'm in a town of about 50,000 and know quite a few of the cops. I can trust them to not screw me at least. Minorities or kids, I would tell them to be really careful.

9. Like the rest of the population

it depends on the person and the situation. It also depends on where I'm at and what police department I'm dealing with. Some departments institutionalize assholery.
