This months theme is after dark. any photo taken after the sun has set,
there are 3 preliminary threads. the top 2 vote getters in each poll as well as the 2 highest vote getters after that will move on to the finals. i will only vote to break ties.

What is that in Step Into My Frame??? I see a leg and a shoe. Somebody help me out here. Please.

48. When you set up for long exposures (which one often does at night or low light)

If you have someone or something enter the frame quickly, it can result in "ghosting."

As a matter of fact, with long exposures, you can set up on a highway overpass, and if the exposure is long enough, can photograph the highway to make it look empty even though there are cars/trucks driving along the highway.

Thank you so much for the explanation. It's interesting and fun. So you can make it look like something is there that isn't and make it look like nothing is there when there is. Wow.
