Anne Frank's stepsister Eva Schloss: life after Auschwitz

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-22126164

Anne Frank's stepsister Eva Schloss has been describing how she survived the Auschwitz concentration camp, "The human spirit is amazing, hope is amazing - I was one of the few lucky ones".

She told BBC World's Stephen Sackur how her mother went on to marry Anne's father Otto and how he helped her to overcome her bitterness at the world.

Talking about her new memoir After Auschwitz: A Story of Heartbreak and Survival, she described how she also felt a sort of jealousy at the attention focused on her dead stepsister.

Thanks for posting this. Here's a link to the United Sates Holocaust Memorial Museum if you're interested. I've spent hours perusing this website looking at pictures and reading articles. Some brought me to tears.
