If anyone still lives in Texas, get out before it's too late.

I mean, this is the guy in charge of your oil and gas industry:

In 2011, Gov. Rick Perry appointed Barry Smitherman to lead the board that regulates the state’s oil and gas industry, which is called, oddly, the Texas Railroad Commission. Smitherman then ran for the board and was elected in 2012.

He, of course, is an idiot who froths at the mouth as often as possible -- which is why he’s a friend of Rick Perry’s.

Smitherton took to the Twitter and reposted a picture showing a noose and suggesting that any of the 16 Senators who voted to debate gun control be charged with treason and hung.

He put that on Twitter. Yeah, so everydamnbody can see it.

or so I read in a comments section of a libertarian blog, which complained that too many "liberals" were moving into Texas, and stated that Texas would be "lost" in a few years.

I am sure it will be under the Names of Delay, Perry, Bush and several others. We had greatness with Ann Richards and the tired dirty old men like those mentioned will be sent out to pasture. We will rise again and without the dumb TP bunch.

Over 3 million Texans voted for Obama in 2008 and also in 2012 - we are not going anywhere!

there are more Democrats than Republicans, it's just a matter of getting them registered and voting. Smitherman is a disgusting piece of shit, this really pisses me off. He hates freedom and peace and the Constitution.
