Mother Of Newtown Victim To Deliver White House’s Weekly Address

The mother of a six-year-old who was shot and killed in the December mass shooting in Newtown, Conn. will deliver this week's White House address.

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney revealed Friday that the weekly address normally given by President Barack Obama will be delivered by Francine Wheeler, whose son, Ben, was among those killed in the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

They were so heart-wrenching they made me cry. I can't believe what those families are going through. Their loss was so immense and so senseless.

I really hope this address will have some impact on people because this can never happen again. This was just too horrifying.
