(65,616 posts)Just sit there and tell him NO, until they get exactly what they want AND a pony! And you can always tell, because they name call The Left as The Left hammers them with facts that they cannot ignore. So they just come up with stupid shit like 'emoprogs' or call us 'retards'. It is the only way they can ignore us and be childish at the same time.
Nothing better than getting beat up by the people you put into office. Especially when THEY look like a bunch of idiots to the majority. So much fun...

(20,226 posts)It is almost the consensus of the mainstream media elites that the problem is that the far right want to cut everything and the far left who oppose "entitlement reform" don't want to reduce benefits at all. Practically all of mainstream media pundits are saying it. Just a couple weeks back I saw David Brooks and former New Deal Democrat Mark Shields both joining together in agreement in arguing that the Democrats have to stop listening to their far left base who don't want to accept "entitlement reform" just as Republicans have to stop listening to he far right who want to privatized Social Security. This is the "liberal media" consensus - that "modest" reductions in Social Security and Medicare benefits are the moderate alternative between two extremes.
