-- are completely unaware of the half of the equation Chomsky points out here. They can only see as far as living free of the "tyranny" of the nanny state and taxes. When asked what they imagine would fill the vacuum of a dismantled government, their eyes seem to glaze over. American politics is about half a block wide and an inch deep.
