there is a real opening for a 2016 contender to help him or her self and to help us in 2014

The fact is if either Hillary and/or Biden run, the only way one of them doesn't win is if there is dissatisfaction with Obama among Democratic primary voters in sufficient amount to let someone who isn't an heir of his to win the nomination. That means for a Cuomo, a O'Malley, or a Switzer to win the nomination he would need to find an issue to distance themselves from Obama with that is more popular than Obama among Democratic primary voters. Well now there is one of those. It is chained CPI. Neither Biden nor Clinton will go on record against this so they should and loudly. Then they should design a contract for America type platform for the House Democrats to run on in 2014 with no chained CPI as the center piece. Of the three, O'Malley would be the best face for this since he tried to be progressive on finances within his state. He could end up doing well, by doing good.

People won't trust it, no matter how progressive the candidate looks.

I only just learned about his interest in running in another thread, and he seems like a strong progressive compared to the others.
