I would say to my Republican friends and family that if you want to vote in a Republican Senate or a Republican President, go ahead, but please think twice before you put in a Republican House that is not representative of the people. And the present House is a perfect example. Our democracy cannot work when our Congress is so closely tied to big business and special interests. It must be more reflective of the people at large. At present, it is not.
In the long run, I think a Republican Congress is more dangerous than a Republican Senate or a Republican White House with their ability to mold the Supreme Court. It is the House of Representatives where the peoples' interests must be attended.
So, Republicans, think twice before you put in a Republican House. Vote for the Senate or White House but leave the House for the people, not big business. Otherwise, you are going to destroy this once-great country.
