'The Gatekeepers' is a documentary film which provides a rare glimpse into life inside Shin Bet, Israel's internal security organization.
The film brings together, for the first time, six former heads of Shine Bet, some of whom are now outspoken opponents of Netanyahu's policies. They speak publicly about the morality of torture and terrorism, arrests and assassinations and the moral dilemmas they were faced with on a daily basis.
The BBC's Lyse Doucet was joined by Daniel Levy, the director of the Middle East and North Africa Programme at the European Council on Foreign Relations, Paul Charney, the chairman of the Zionist Federation of Great Britain and by Dror Moreh, the director of 'The Gatekeepers'.

This is the point that you continue to miss: the harshest criticism of Israel comes from within its own borders. Newspapers, former generals, politicians.. All publicly criticize Israeli actions and no one is thrown into jail.
Israel is the only democracy in that region and beyond. But this is too much for you to acknowledge is it?
