Congressman Says Bible Proves Climate Change Isn't Man-Made

Rep. Joe Barton (R-TX) said you can have "an honest difference of opinion" of what's causing climate change without "automatically being either all in that's all because of mankind or it's all just natural," BuzzFeed reports.

Barton then cited the biblical Great Flood as an example.

"I would point out that if you're a believer in in the Bible, one would have to say the Great Flood is an example of climate change and that certainly wasn't because mankind had overdeveloped hydrocarbon energy."

And, as I said on another thread regarding Joe's idiocy... Yes, the "Great Flood" was, in fact, caused by humans. We were acting so assholishly that Joe's "god" decided to wipe us all from the face of the earth.

Might just happen again soon, too...

I was going to bet on good old Louis Gohmert as the provider of the laugh of the day but Joe-Bob Barton is just about as predictable when it comes to delivering a moronic line.

Did someone write down the words, 'overdeveloped hydrocarbon energy' for Joe? He seems too stupid to understand his own supposed dogma, so I have no reason to believe he knows what overdeveloped hydrocarbon energy is either.
