CBC’s George Stroumboulopoulos is taking his chat show format to CNN this summer, the U.S. network has announced.

Stroumboulopoulos has hosted a nightly interview show on CBC Television since 2005, initially called The Hour and now George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight.

He will host a similar show once a week on CNN, with interviews filmed in Los Angeles in front of a live audience. CNN said the show would be similar to George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight.

The 10-episode, hour-long series will air Fridays in prime time.
