At least that is what cut off part of this implied. This was a message sent to me and after reading it, I believed it had to be shared here. 1. Someone is being threatened with eviction from their home. I hate that. 2. They are a vet. Some consideration/compassion by Fannie is needed here. Period. There is much more I could say, but I'm leaving it at this point. And we also need (again) to try and have that DeMarco dude removed from his job since it appears he is happy to reject peoples pleas for adjustments to their mortgage--and putting them on the street. Disgusting.
Dear friends,
Thank you so much for signing my petition!
As you read this email I am under threat of eviction by Fannie Mae. After meeting with Fannie Mae executives in January I have been strung along for months. My home is underwater and I need principal reduction. At every turn Fannie Mae has tried to get me to accept deals they know I can't afford.
Call Andrew Wilson at 202-752-5168
Sample Script:
[Mr. Wilson, my name is __________ and I'm calling from __________. I'm calling today to demand that Fannie Mae offer Mark Harris a deal he can afford. Half measures are unacceptable. Thousands of people stand with Mark, and we will defend his home with non-violent resistance should you come to evict. Do the right thing and make a deal Mark can afford.]
***From Occupy Our Homes Atlanta:
Your call will help us keep the pressure on Fannie Mae as we enter a week of action to defend Mark's home.

Yesterday banners were dropped over Atlanta's busiest downtown interstate demanding that Fannie Mae settle with Mark and Edward DeMarco be removed from his position at the head of the Federal Housing Finance Agency.
Today we're backing up phone lines.
Tomorrow we will make Mark's fight personal for Fannie Mae's southern regional director Catherine Lasher. On Wednesday evening we will be holding a peaceful candle light vigil outside Ms. Lasher's home to remind her that the sense of security and comfort she feels when she comes home from work is exactly what Mark is fighting for.
Finally on Friday, we will be holding an Eviction Free Fish Fry at Mark's house where we will join together to have a good time, learn how to defend Mark's home from a Fannie Mae eviction attempt, and show strength in numbers.
If you live in the Atlanta area feel free to join us for either of these events!
