3. The Stephanie Miller show on radio

I listen to WCPT in chicago on the computer.
I came in late, somehow gay marriage came up and a bunch of anti-gay marriage yahoos have been calling in.
Stephanie miller is a comedian and is dispatching them with humor.
Her show is a lot of fun to listen to.
She is the daughter of former GOP vice-pres candidate William Miller. She came out of the closet about 2 years ago.

You can also watch her on Current-TV live.

she weaves quite liberal stances on issues among some great and sometimes sophomoric humor.
I can't imagine trying to be funny 3 hours a day and being at a high level 100% of the time.
Love Thom Hartmann also

2. My husband and I are laughing. I told him I wish I could call and tell these idiots

that this issue is a civil rights issue. The majority doesn't have a right to run over the minority. It doesn't matter what a person believes. I said we can call it "Gay Marriage" and "Straight Marriage" if it makes people feel better what to call it. Bet yet make everyone have a civil marriage first and then if they want the church's blessing so be it. But the civil marriage makes it legal for everyone under the state laws. They can leave god out of it.

She doesn't let the emos control the conversation.

If she didn't keep Jim in check sometimes, it'd be too much like DU is right now.

I like that she doesn't bother to debate assholes like Thom Hartmann tries to. She just bats them around like a cat that has cornered a mouse. They deserve it.

Bunch of idiots twisting her words. She stated correctly that Jesus never mentioned homosexuality. A woman tried to correct her, but she quoted Paul's Letter to the Romans, which makes them Paul's words, not those of Jesus. I tried to call in to correct the 'correcter', but I couldn't get through.

Love listening to Stephanie on KLAY 1180 - Tacoma, ever since Seattle AM 1090 bit the big one...

16. radio over the computer

I was hoping maybe she might move to Free Speech TV.
But if she doesn't, listen to her on computer.
I listen to WCPT in Chicago or KTNF in Minneapolis. KTLK in LA is another outlet.

17. I'm going to have to when she leaves Current TV, which is where I get her now.

Our local progressive radio has dropped all the talk shows, Randi, Mike Malloy, Ed Schultz an Thom Hartmann too, in favor of an all news outlet that sounds more and more like CNN and even Fox everyday. I guess the PTB have succeeded pretty much in making sure we don't hear anything but what they want us to hear.

One used to be able to watch her there before they started simulcasting her show on Current TV. And, as you point out, she'll still be on the radio (or via web stream)--which is how those of us who don't have cable have been getting her all along.
