And Insanity beget the US Senate - US Senate beget the Filibuster - and the Filibuster beget Gridlock.
Republicans in the US Senate can now be declared officially insane. After all that has happened with school shootings and murder of kindergarten children, they refuse to allow even a vote on gun safety issues. The NRA has them all by the balls and refuses to loosen their grip. There is nothing to call it except insanity.

All that matters is profit. All that will be done will be for its sake. The result, by way of extrapolation, is that it will determine the outcome of just about everything our society and the world does, and the prognosis is not very good at all.
Following the money will quickly disabuse one of any residual notions that support the inculcated view that the superficial trappings of terminology that suggest liberty, justice or equality. Some animals are more equal than others on this farm.
Starting from, "everything we know is wrong" and rebuilding one's world view reveals just how the corporate simulation runs the game and its relationship to current government. Even the words we use commonly and that are utilized to manipulate us have a dictionary definition and their own, technical one.
If you look into how a company like GE is run, (a corporate tyranny) that is a fairly accurate depiction of what we have, minus the trappings of overt and covert manipulation that maintains the branding and image called democracy, along with other sundry sales pitches.
It is one thing to voluntarily work within the corporate structure, it is quite another to live in one 24/7. That's what we will have more of and the future of society will be shaped, molded and become it if the current momentum is left unchecked and all of our resources, commons and wealth continues to be sucked-up into the coffers of the denizens of board rooms, et al.
