Oklahoma Rep: 'It's Not Our Job To See That Anyone Gets An Education'

Oklahoma state Rep. Mike Reynolds (R-Oklahoma City) told fellow lawmakers last week that they have no responsibility to ensure students have access to a college education.

He backtracked and said he supports K-12 free ed, mighty nice of him.

IMO, The GOP hates public education and nolonger is hiding it.

Or brush your teeth.

But it's worth doing for the benefit to the overall society.

...unless they can control what's taught. There's a reason why people whose minds are clouded with religious nuttery and anti-science woo vote GOP: nobs who can't think for themselves are easy to scare and herd.

That way they can go there, run a society the way they see fit, and we can all see how it works out.

Just to be decent about it, we'll send a mercy boat every now and then to pick up people desperately trying to escape.

No communal services. Police yourself. Provide your own health care.
Grow your own food. If your house catches fire, take your own hose to it.
Teach your own children.

Nothing but self-reliance.
