Master plan takes 12 to 16 more years to fix economy -------this is idiocy

So we settle for how many more years of recession? (0+ / 0-)

& gridlock in DC?

5-10-15-20?

DO we destroy an entire generation or two in doing so?

I know its not very appealing, but it does get the pain over and let the good times roll.

...... Social Security blogathon March 25th thru March 29th. #HandsOffmySS FDR 9-23-33, "If we cannot do this one way, we will do it another way. But do it we will.

Ask those taken to Auswitz about 'good times'. (0+ / 0-)

Those who lost everything, including the lives of children and other loved ones during the 30s.

Now, of course, the stakes and scope of catastrophic consequences are orders of magnitude far beyond what they were then. Nuclear war anyone? Further radicalization of the Muslim world? With nukes and bio warfare and acopalyptic politcs and religion.. and of yeah, a nice festering casus beli in Isreal to light the final fuse?

The plan is obvious for anyone who'll look: Try to win 2014 whle mitigating the damage from the ThugNihilists - and even with luck getting a little stimulus thru creative legislative and executive action (tho the latter is far more likely). Then try to win 2016 - hoping Hillary runs and gives us another 8 years of D POTUS. And then make sure we win enough statehouses in 2020 for 2021 redistricting.

Yes, its a long, strategic plan. And yes, it doesn't mean immeidate relief. And yes, it means a whole lot of suck short-term. But its how the Clowns of St.Raygun and HisFoolishDisciple and DarthCheney got us into this disater over the last 30 years. Not surprising that it'll take 12 or 16 years to dig out is it?

This is not a 6th grader thinking outloud, this is an adult living in the US today. With thinking like this I want to give the keys to the GOP and let them crash the car. Then we have a good chance of getting a DEM majority and we can get this shit fixed, create jobs, raise min wage, move forward on Climate change, all in the first 2 years.

But making an excuse for gridlock is unacceptable, and making an excuse for 12 more years is insane, bat shit crazy insane.

that is an abstraction that depends on who is looking at it from which angle? Now, let's add another abstract of projections into the future.

What a load of manufactured crap! Who can cease to be amazed at how well this game is played by those who design the game board, the pieces and the rules that vary depending on the situation and your status?

Let's see, we have hoards of cash sequestered, (there's that word again) in offshore accounts and lots of taxes and penalties due. But, it will take decades to "fix" the "economy"?

We have spent trillions on elaborate and expensive contracts to "protect" us? from the grave danger of those who want to take something, (freedom?) away from us at the first chance they get, while those inside this box are doing that just fine without any help from abroad.

You can go on and on. The plain and simple fact is that information is used by the political/corporate marriage, (see event hey can get married) to manage the game in order to try to mold and change our opinions and divert us from what is being done.

We are being taken to the cleaners, (even cleaner cleaners than before) and hung out to dry, (for which there is a standard surcharge) and our kids are really going to have fun with the results of not realizing that and the complacency that has allowed us to merge onto a highway of tears for years to come on our way to the Great Fiefdom where everything will be owned by a few and the Serfs will be rather curious about stories of times when there was a middle class and seniors did not die in tents somewhere.
