On edit: I was referring to fuel prices. Not the same thing, I know.

I still see pricing over $4.00 at some stations. The lowest I've see yesterday is $3.86.

North Sea Brent is the world benchmark crude oil. Brent is at $104.05. On 6 November 2012 (Election day) it was at $109.27. West Texas Intermediate is at $92.70; on election day, it was at $88.10.

I remember the last time gas around here was around $2.30 ... just a few days before the Republicans won the House in November 2010.

In less than two weeks, gas prices jumped 30 cents ... IN ONE DAY!.

That's forgotten by those in the Right who keep reminding us "gas was $1.80 before Obama was sworn in ..."
