Trayvon Martin's parents settle wrongful-death claim

Justice moves slowly but surely:

Homeowners association is thought to have paid more than $1 million
April 5, 2013|By Rene Stutzman, Orlando Sentinel

SANFORD — Trayvon Martin's parents have settled a wrongful-death claim for an amount thought to be more than $1 million against the homeowners association of the Sanford subdivision where their teenage son was killed.

<snip>

Under the terms of the settlement, Trayvon's parents, Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin, and his estate agreed to set aside their wrongful-death claim and claims for pain and suffering, loss of earnings and expenses.

Crump has made clear that he intends to file suit later against Zimmerman, and the settlement spelled out that Zimmerman was not part of this deal.

It does make sense that they do not want to be held responsible for Zimmerman's actions as they know he is likely to be found guilty which would make it even more likely that a jury would award the Martins even more money. I suppose the fact that they are not defending Zimmerman can't help his case much.

May Zimmerman be the reason that the insanity of guns in the streets ends forever.
Ban bullets, ban guns

ONE US Supreme Court Justice change from right to left, and the insanity can end.

IT's too bad Zimmy the NRA poster person wasn't charged with 1st degree murder as he planned it, and taking the time to call police showed he did it with the intent to watch a person die.

This proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that Zimmy is 100% guilty.

Mr. Martin might have cured cancer in a few years. Zimmy took the hopes and dreams away and had the bullet/gun to do so.

due to internet donations by suckers? Clearly, he belongs in jail. I think his time is coming. The whole nation has a different attitude toward psychos with guns today then they had when Zimmerman stalked that poor kid and murdered him.
