Like most here, I'm not at all offended by photos of topless women protesting. I personally am not completely sure their method is most effective - especially when protesting in Muslim areas (where it may be better to start off with more realistic goals like providing better access to educational and employment opportunities). A Muslim women is likely to get more defensive about their hijab as it is in many cases the choice they make.
Ultimately, topless protesting has got them coverage and publicity. And I'm absolutely disgusted by the police treatment of the women. And ultimately, I am sympathetic to their goals of bringing down the patriarchal mindset most have.
Still, out of common courtesy to your fellow DUer, if you are posting photos of the protest, please post NSFW in the subject line. I check DU at work on my breaksand if someone came by, it could be embarrassing, and for some this could cost them their job.
