He covered striking Burger King workers, and interviewed them in his studio. Good for him! Anyone who takes over Ed's slot should do so.
He tied it into the anniversary of MLK's death, which is appropriate since he died defending striking garbage workers. I just hope that doesn't mean it's a once a year thing.
Anyway, I was happy to see this.

(15,805 posts)I learned that the average age of fast food workers is 28 for men, and 32 for women. These are not "entry level" jobs, the are life long, low wage, dead-end jobs and the majority of those workers will never advance beyond the minimum base wage.
I really like Chris Hayes and the depth of information he provides.

(8,421 posts)kept up the meme about these 'entry level jobs' and 'giving kids an opportunity'. The poster above with the average age information blows that idea.
But of course, there are a lot more things that are crap spewed by the lobbyist.
