Shame on Wilcox Georgia. Still holding segregated Prom and Homecoming dances

Private or not, this is obscene.

A high school in Georgia is looking to have its first racially integrated prom ever, 30 years after the school was officially integrated with both black and white students.

Students at Wilcox High School are coming together to put an end to the segregated dances.

When the school was integrated, they stopped holding dances. Parents took over and sponsored them, but made sure they were still segregated.

"We're embarrassed, it's embarrassing," a group of students said.
