oil spill at mayflower arkansas

oil spill at mayflower arkansas

It really blows my mind to see the exxon update on this spill with the caption their is no danger to the lake and on the same page it shows a guy kneeling down with a suction vac taking oil off of water and you can see the boom in the same picture! Is their anything being put out by a state or federal eninty checking this? and having the same results? I believe that tar sand oil jells and would sink! that seemed to be the case in michigan we also had that problem in lousianna!
the public needs to be represented with information gathered by other than that provided by the company whose pipeline ruptured!

What happened to investigative reporters? This should be front page but no, nothing to see here. Move along and don't ask questions.

my point exactly! seems to be media blocked! their is no denying the spill;but the cleanup is going well is a matter for all of us! I live near A PIPELINE! I realize it is in exxon's interest to clean it up as fast as possible! but I want to see a press release from another source who's information is coming from an independent report.(like dep, town, city, state inspectors etc.)

that the media is being deliberately kept away. A print reporter could probably find a way to investigate but the company doesn't want visuals. I imagine that those homes and the land around them are now trashed and useless. The company will buy them and wipe their hands of responsibility for the disruption. The locals who are effected/affected will eventually be ignored. Few others will protest the pipeline or demand change.

its only a no fly zone from 0-1000 feet which is reasonable given helicopters and what they can do to disbursing fluids.. so this isnt an excuse for the media not to cover, 1000 feet is nothing for todays camera technology

I can no longer find any of the pics that were posted early on. (Of course, I'm old and self-taught with these innertubes...)
