Ben Carson: Liberals Don’t Like Me Because They’re ‘Racist’ (AUDIO)

Rising conservative star Dr. Ben Carson, who has been criticized for linking gay marriage to bestiality and pedophilia, responded to critics Monday on Mark Levin's radio show.

Carson, who is the head of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins University, said he represents an existential threat to liberals. "They need to shut me up, they need to get rid of me," Carson said. "They can't find anything else to delegitimize me, so they take my words, misrepresent them and try to make it seem that I'm a bigot."

"And you're attacked also, in many respects, because of your race," Levin said. "Because you're not supposed to think like this and talk like this. A lot of white liberals just don't like it, do they?"

"Well, you know, they're the most racist people there are," Carson said. "Because, you know, they put you in a little category, a little box, you have to think this way. How could you dare come off the plantation?"

- wants to end all government provided welfare, food stamps and public assistance and thinks that only religious charities should be relied upon for this: "Nobody is starving on the streets. We've always taken care of them. We take care of our own; we always have. It is not the government's responsibility"

- wants to privatize medicare and create vouchers or health savings accounts

- told Neil Cavuto that he would run for office if God called on him to run

- an avowed 7th Day Adventist who doesn't believe in dancing or seeing movies. From what I understand, Adventists believe in a literal interpretation of the bible that the universe was created in only six days, 6,000 years ago

Whether they are white or black, what I have noticed is that Conservatives LOVE to pretend to be the VICTIMS in a situation, and that us big, bad Liberals hurt their feelings or are always picking on them. Hannity is probably the WORST when it comes to this. They cry about the media the most, about how much they are abused by the "lame-stream media." Look at what they did to Hillary Rosen back in April with her comments about Ann Romney "not working a day in her life." Oh my God, that was non stop on Fox. Yet, it's perfectly fine for a sitting GOP CONGRESSMAN to criticize the First Lady's weight, or just this week, another sitting GOP congressman criticizing the President's daughters!
