Who Else Is Excited For The Premiere Of "All In with Chris Hayes" Tonight?

I am a big fan of Ed Schultz, but I am excited for Chris Hayes' new show in primetime tonight! He brings a new depth of knowledge and understanding of the political process and ideologies to the MSNBC primetime line-up, and I know he has many other fans here on DU as well! His weekend show "UP" had such a high amount of stimulative discussion, and I only hope that his new show has the same!

Does anyone know? Was it really voluntary on his part or was something else going on?

As for Chris, I wish him well. But labor is already poorly represented. We desperately need someone to get their story out, and Ed was the only one. Maybe Chris will prove himself to be just as good, but I don't know how he could, quite honestly.

I will miss the passion that Ed had, and the attention he paid to labor. Hopefully Chris will stay out of the "weeds" and get a focus on his new show. He does not have 2 hours to meander along.

It's not his fault and anyway, he is a really good Dem and progressive. Very liberal. His dad was a union member and big supporter and so was Chris. He has good credentials.

You should at least give him the benefit of the doubt before rejecting him...

I hope he covers the same topics that were on the weekend show. For me it's the best show on MSNBC.

Ed Shultz was pretty good and will still be good at his new time. Which I heard he requested.

I think he just wanted to go to weekends to spend more time with his family. Somebody said his wife had cancer.

I'm always up for a good conspiracy theory, but I can't see one here. Unless maybe MSNBC wants an excuse to kill the Chris Hayes show. So they move it to nights where they expect it to get worse ratings so they have an excuse to kill it. To be honest I don't own a TV so it doesn't really affect me.

PS. Alot of people seem to like Maddow so I can't see any reason they won't love the Chris Hayes show. I hope everyone will give it a chance.

This may be an opportunity to quit watching so much political talk show stuff.

Frasier is on Hallmark for a couple of hours. And there are other things to watch, when the Frasier runs end.

Not crazy about Hayes. Don't dislike him. But I watched his weekend program once and changed the channel. He doesn't interest me.
