Georgia Republican Party chair: Straight people will enter gay marriages to get ‘a free ride’

http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2013/04/01/georgia-republican-party-chair-straight-people-will-enter-gay-marriages-to-get-a-free-ride/
“You’re creating with this child that it’s a lifestyle, don’t go out and marry someone else of a different sex because this is natural,” she said. “But if I had a next door neighbor who was in a gay relationship, I could be just as friendly to them as I could be to you and your wife or anybody else. I’m not saying that we ostracize them or anything like that. I’m just saying I’m against marriage because once you get the gay marriage you get everything else.”

Let me get this straight (no pun intended): 'straight' people would enter a gay marriage just to get a free ride? If that were the case, why wouldn't they just enter a 'straight' marriage? I don't get it...

Learn to dress better? Every gay person I know knows how to dress well.

I myself, I do have a fashion statement, it's just for the semi-illiterate.

well, as married person I'd think the last thing a marriage could be called would be a "free" ride.
and just to get insurance blah blah blah, i got news for this concerned whack job, it's already happening and has been as long as i can remember...

That article/speech doesn't make any sense, at all.

I will say, without a doubt, I would not want to be her neighbor and I'm straight! Bigots make my skin crawl.
