JoScar practically ignored guest Chris Hayes but fell all over David Stockman

today on Morning Joe. Poor Chris tried to talk about his show "All In" premiering tonight at 8 pm on msnbc, in Ed's old spot. JoScar was borderline rude in almost ignoring him.

Stockman comes on and Joe is all full of largesse. I predicted yesterday that Stockman would be on MJ very soon pushing his book. That was fast!

Scar is an arrogant egotist, and he could not conceal his jealousy of Hayes' snagging a coveted nightly prime time gig.

msnbc wouldn't have picked up Chris's show if they didn't have some evidence that his type of show is up and coming among smart younger people.

I think they are content to fill that 3 hour am block with the one show because its cheaper than 3 separate shows, they compete with Faux and Idiots, and whatever CNN has on currently, hard to keep track of...

Remember, this is the same channel that was content to have friggin' Imus on until he blew up real good...

And good luck to Chris tonight!!! Was it not Ed who taught us to DVR his show because somehow that translates better for the ratings system???

DVR Chris daily!!!

a few years ago and had to go to an early morning slot. Rachel has his old time slot. I'm quite sure he's never gotten over that loss and he's behaved like a Super Dick ever since.

When he had his nightly show, he was actually somewhat tolerable.

I remember when he had an evening show on MSNBC. Not sure if was before or after Dan Abrams show -- or maybe it was Rita Cosby?

It was right around the time when Olbermann was making his ascent on the channel. Those were interesting times.

And the 'ribbing' about Hayes' test scores were obnoxious. You know - Joey Scar is no longer the 'coveted' elite.

Anyone read Hayes' book "Twilight of the Elites"?

I did.

And you know what?

He points out how people like Joe S. have failed America - the supposed 'Elite Media'. And me thinks that bothers Joe S on maybe even MORE so than Hayes being given a greater platform to display his innate intellect and human/emotional intelligence.

The other is that Chris is enormously attractive to the liberal leaning younger public. His Up with Chris Hayes was by far the most interesting, the freshest and the most intellectually and informationally satisfying of ANY cable show.

Joe just blathered on about buying Chris a bike (Chris said NO several times...Joe, why don't you take no for answer?). Chris shot a zinger when he said NYC had one of the finest public transit systems in the world. I'm sure he knew Joe didn't want to hear that, heh, heh!

And I'm of the same age as he, Maddow, Blackwell . . . their gen-x cynicism hasn't done them in yet. May it never!

And I LOVED that crack at Joe S. He's so cool though (Hayes). Just brushes the dirt off of his shoulder and moves on. Joe S is a bully.

success, but I just think they naturally avoid each other. Joe was just blathering today to keep Chris from having a larger share of that segment. He kept interrupting and making stupid conversation about bikes and Chris's SAT scores. I felt like yelling at Joe "He got into Brown, you stupid idiot!" Joe is so goddamned jealous he can't see straight...

No, Joe didn't like Chris on his show but he's not crazy about David Stockman either. He scorches his hero, Reagan, in the book, is my understanding. Also, he says the country is bankrupt because of George W Bush.

I don't know how Joe feels about Stockman since I don't recall hearing any comments he had made.

Joe has been busy rewriting his own history with the Bush Administration. He's lying of course but I've come to expect dishonesty from him. His biggest lie: that he was against the Iraq War. He was definitely a promoter of that war, at least from what I've seen...these things can be Googled...
