Toxicological Profile for Creosote

He'd best keep clear of Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins--that's all I can say

I haven't been back to Philly in a couple of years, but I remember that thing standing in Center City as an eyesore and an affront to every decent person either living there or visiting.

I lived there while I was going to college, and stayed on as sort a gypsy trying to decide to do with my life when my outfit recruited me in August of 1975. "You can speak HOW many languages? Are you cool with traveling? We gotta have a chat."

They said they would base me out of Boston for starters, and you didn't have to ask me twice. I canceled my apartment on Chestnut Street, loaded up my stuff into a U-Haul, and I was gone.

Get a copy of Digby Baltzell’s “Puritan Boston, Quaker Philadelphia”. You’ll find it most interesting

Thanks for the tip! As one who has lived in both cities, but as an outsider, I am interested to see if I agree with the conclusions.
