"The denunciation follows up on an earlier statement in which the agency said it had “been made aware of postings or flyers on the internet regarding the ADA and the use of face masks due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many of which include the Department of Justice’s seal.”

“These postings were not issued by the Department and are not endorsed by the Department,” the agency emphasized. The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, which helps enforce disability rights in employment, has issued guidelines clarifying how businesses can follow public health measures while still accommodating disabled employees."

"Both the DOJ and EEOC have emphasized that enforcement of the ADA will continue amid the pandemic, but also underscore the ADA’s caveat that a disabled person’s request cannot cause “undue hardship” to the employer or fundamentally change the overall operation. If a particular accommodation poses an undue hardship, employers and employees should work together to determine if there may be an alternative that could be provided that does not pose such problems,” the EEOC wrote in its latest guidelines on disability rights and COVID-19." The rest of them were also much cooler than I thought they would be.

And that's a good thing.

In the first video, one of the store employees had the mask below her nose. She may as well not be wearing a mask.

I can't believe they didn't call the police in the second video.

And I wish the last video had run long enough to either see the police show up or the man leave.

These spreaders will keep doing this until it happens. Sure, some will change their tune with a change of leadership, but the sort of shitbag who smokes in your face and/or "rolls coal" isn't going to give it up until we respond in, eh, let's say unpleasant fashions.
