I had a feeling the Herschel Walker thing had something to do with him being a football star with lots of money and Donny destroying the USFL. Sure enough. Donny "inherited" Walker when he bought the New Jersey Generals and desperately needed to use him to "succeed," though he naturally failed yet again.
