event today filled me with hope...and emotion. I am not a crier usually. But Joe and Kamala had me in tears. And there was a crowd to greet them...wearing masks! I have Peacock and they have NBC live...got rid of much of my paid streaming to save money.

Sure, we've all been aware of Sen. Harris for a while, but most folks haven't seen or heard her. What little they know of her is probably from Trump and Republicans who have invested heavily in demonizing Democrats. It's just that when you're conditioned to expect some fire-breathing she-devil and instead Kamala Harris comes out, all the fear mongering seems hollow.

It's still going to be a battle until November, but I'd much rather be in the Democrats' position than the Republicans.

Spend 10 minutes talking about how she really can drink water with one hand and walk down a slight decline without falling? Or did she spend 10 minutes blathering on about how surprised her doctors were that she wasn't brain damaged?

Or did she mock any disabled people in the audience? Use any racial slurs? Tell people to inject themselves with bleach? Talk about how great she is and how stupid anyone who doesn't realize it must be?

Because if she didn’t, then I just can’t believe her speech was any good at all.

Golly will it be AMAZING to have functional, caring, human, decent, adults for President and VP again. I cannot wait!!! I love Joe and Kamala!
