bring the issue to the actual public, write a LTTE for your newspaper, because you're only preaching to the choir here.

First with seniors. I know my mother-in-law complacently is okay with cutting these programs for "you younger people"- you know, to "balance the budget." But she would never want HER social security to be cut. It was always, like, "In ten years, when I'm dead, cut it off for everyone under 65." (It is really weird to hear an elderly person I love basically say, "You and the grandkids can starve in YOUR old age.&quot

Now we need to make clear, cutting off funding now means the checks run out THIS YEAR, and to the current recipients. Grandma isn't getting her SS check because the FICA tax pays for it. Granddad isn't going to get his Medicare either. NOW. This year.

And with non-recipients, we have to stress-- You have been paying into this system since you were a teen. Now you will never get it. Trump will have taken it away from you AFTER you've paid many thousands into it and have relied on it for your old age. Kiss it goodbye--

Or vote for Biden and preserve your investment in Social Security.

Let's push it-- really. This is what Trump wants to do, and now he's saying it out loud, and it's not getting enough attention in the MSM.

there was a massive effort using the Christian Right to work the Christian Warriors to push defunding of Social Security, calling it a Satanic Commie idea. Same shit bubbled up during the Cheney Terrorist efforts to wreck any and all Social Welfare Programs.

The Chamber of Commerce with the help of the Heritage Foundation and the Federalist's did their best to push this same meme in the late seventies and continue to plant these stories in sympathetic media yet today.
