The election is TOMORROW, Tuesday, Aug. 4.
The school where our Michigan precinct normally votes is closed due to COVID-19, so the City Clerk sent out the new location to the four voters who live here. Our Detroit suburb is about 25,000 people total.
The notices are postmarked Thursday, July 30. Normally, theyd have arrived Friday next day at the latest. The delay reveals Dumpy n DeJoys Operation SNAILMAN for November.

(31,261 posts)There are a number of ways to defeat them. People need to understand their states voting laws and plan accordingly.
I am lucky, Florida has 11 days of in person early voting. Typically, there are several sites in the county, but failing that, the County Registrars run big voting sites at their offices, in my county, that is like 100 voting booths and four vote scanners. My county registrar send out ballots as soon as races are set (voter signature periods to qualify for inclusion on a primary ballot have ended, or primary results are known, so the General Election ballot is known), I got the two mailin ballots that I did around 45 days before voting day, so I had plenty of time to fill they out and mail them back.
