I found out about it on Twitter.

Terribly sad, Palmdale is a very depressing sort of place north of LA but in the lower central valley, dry and oily. (oil wells)

Palmdale is high desert, but yes, it is rather desolate and depressing.

The oil is in Bakersfield, on the other side of the mountains.

certainly not the answers from the city itself since they seem to be wanting to cover it up. How does one rule this a suicide? That's what gets me ???!!!

But I understand wanting some certainty, especially in this racially charged atmosphere.

of covid-19? Not one mention about facts. Not one mention of race?

“Sadly, it is not the first such incident since the COVID-19 pandemic began,” city officials said in the statement.

they said those were crow deterrents.
Then, conveniently perhaps, there are traffic cameras but they don't record anything.
From what I read, the city has a some bad history with the neo Nazi movement.

If they have indicators that will stand a coroner's review they haven't mentioned a single one.

This is a damn odd place to do it. Suicides are typically a very personal and private event. A tree in front of the city hall is anything but private. Suicide is also the last attempt of someone to control their life and so it is not typically done casually or without some distinct order to the event. If it was Suicide where is the note or last message, or his cell phone? Have they spoken with anyone who knew him?

I don't believe in coincidence especially in situations like this.

hope it was suicide or not. It takes a lot of misery to come to this.
