Captain Kangaroo was not my favorite as a kid. Kinda gave me the creeps. Now Mr. Green Jeans - he was great!

Sure seemed like he held off to capitalize on his book. Whether that’s true or not, that’s what everyone thinks.

I preferred captain Penny as a kid. I don’t know if he was national or just regional.
