ASSUME that Mr. Floyd DID "resist arrest" at some point that just "happens" not to be

shown on any of the multiple videos. SO WHAT!?!

He sure as hell was not resisting when Chauvin killed him! He was handcuffed, on the ground, pressed against the rear tire of a cop car with two cops on top of him.

Was his pleading for his life "resisting"?

Were his repeated cries of "I can't breathe!" "resisting"?

Was his crying for his mother "resisting"?

This is BULLSHIT, people! Chauvin TAUNTED him: "Get up, bro!" while he held him down!

Chauvin is a racist Trump-humper and he treated Mr. Floyd in a manner that would have been outrageous cruelty if done to a dog! Arrest him now, damn it!

can't find any other crimes to charge you with. Policing in the US is awful and getting worse.

2. The term "resisting" shouldn't even enter into this conversation, it just muddies the water.

"Resisting arrest" is what racist cops always claim when they kill some unarmed black man. Afterwards all the cop-sucker trolls go on their rightwing sites to justify the killing, "well, if he hadn't resisted, if he had just complied, he would be alive today."

3. really, how incompetent are we expected to believe they are that they couldn't bring him in alive?

how many police officers does it take to bring in a suspect (for a non-violent crime, no less) when the suspect is already handcuffed and lying down?

presumably, unless they snapped his neck, there was a time where he was unconscious but not dead.

so for a period of time, the suspect was handcuffed, lying down, not moving, not saying anything, unconscious, and they *still* couldn't figure out how to "subdue" him without killing him?

or whether they wanted to set it him up for resisting. Telling him to get up while not 1 but up to 3 held him down is bizarre and they need to answer for that.
Look, he wasn't complying when we gave him so many orders!

6. Cops are now trained to yell loudly "Stop Resisting! Stop Resisting!" as they're beating people up.

In case some bystander is recording the beat down on their smartphone; it helps them establish the old justfied beating defense in court. It's also part of their training to repeatedly scream "keep your hands away from your waistband!" just before they gun down unarmed "suspects."

5. Mr. Floyd was a big guy

but for god's sake there were *four* cops and he was fucking *handcuffed*. I tried to find out what his original offense was, and best I can tell he was trying to pass a counterfeit bill. Which is of course a capital offense.

The man was calling for his mother. Like dying soldiers do. It broke my heart to hear that.

I don't care how big a racist you are, this was a living human being who needs to breathe.

It didn't take more than a few minutes for the CNN reporter to be arrested; why is it taking so long for the cop *we all saw kill a man* to be arrested?

7. People need to re-watch these videos
Fri May 29, 2020, 11:42 AM

Because it does not appear to be the officer telling him to "get up, bro"; it was a passerby.

All I can tell you is this: Something obviously happened in between the time he was sitting on the side walk and the point when he is on his stomach in front of the Police SUV. Maybe I am late to this, but I still haven't seen any video of him being taken down. He obviously did something - I don't know what - but something caused them to put him on the ground. What?

9. On what information do you base your "He obviously did something" conclusion?
Fri May 29, 2020, 12:10 PM
May 2020

They did not need a reason to continue throttling him AFTER he was cuffed on the ground; AFTER he said "I can't breathe!" a dozen times; AFTER he'd been unconscious for a couple minutes.

Why do you insist they needed a reason to "take him down" beyond the fact that he was black?

He was sitting on the sidewalk, they got him up..... and then the video ends..... and picks back up with him on his stomach. What happened in between those two points? He is up, walking towards the Explorer... and then he is on his stomach. WHAT HAPPENED?

" Why do you insist they needed a reason to "take him down" beyond the fact that he was black?"

If this is serious and not trolling, then there would be no reason to try to respond.

13. Are you sure it was a passerby?

I couldn't bring myself to watch the whole video but apparently there were 3 cops holding Floyd down, 2 of them hidden behind the police car.
Why would a passerby say "Get up"?

Edited after thinking about it: Get up could have been directed at Chauvin, of course. But I have no idea.

I guess they need more time to synch their stories. What I want to know is where is the footage from their body cams... or did that disappear.

he was handcuffed and lying face down at the time of his death, no threat whatsoever. No need to go any further than that.

I got the smart idea to run with my grass. The cops tackled me when I slipped on some gravel
and held a stick under my throat while kneeling on my back. I couldn't breathe and tried to
pull the stick away. "Quit resisting!" several times. Then he pulled his gun and pressed it very
hard into the base of my skull. I was handcuffed with my hands behind me and put in the back seat
of the cruiser. I was young (this was over 40 years ago) and agile. When he returned to the car,
I had worked my arms under my feet and was handcuffed in the front now.
It may have turned out a lot different if I wasn't white.

Think about that sentence...repeat: "He sure as hell was not resisting when Chauvin killed him!""

..Everyone can see it. Knee on neck, 8 minutes. Chauvin Killed Him. Clear to everyone !!!

Trial and Prison Time coming. (my opinion)
