This could very well be one of their tools to try to garner support for Trump.
but that's just a theory.

(31,261 posts)I wish more detail had bee provided. Like you said, Hong Kong, Macau and another place have been autonomous parts of China since Britain handed the over in the late 90s. So just using the term "taken over" causes lots of ambiguity in the minds of some. China may have revoked the "autonomous" part, but it has been slowly doing that for a while.
