(10,825 posts)Is the Grandchild of Human Resources. This is how the corporate world has perceived workers for quite some time. Not as essential team players working towards the same goal, a job well done, a successful enterprise but as resources to tap, drain, kick to the curb when depleted.
Hassett's mistake is he framed the idea in even starker terms: human capital stock. You can almost hear the mooing.
