Trump adviser's 'repugnant' lack of concern for human life slammed by ethics expert

Published 1 min ago on May 25, 2020
By Matthew Chapman

On Monday, President Donald Trump’s economic adviser Kevin Hassett appeared on CNN to urge the economy to reopen, saying, “Our human capital stock is ready to go back to work.”

Former Office of Government Ethics Director Walter Shaub slammed Hassett, calling his calculus “repugnant” and suggesting his remarks indicate he doesn’t value human lives beyond the worth of their labor.

What a pig, and it looks like this mofo has already been fattened up enough for market - you first a-hole. I've seen pigs hanging in a slaughterhouse. It's pretty ghastly - it would be a nice look for the likes of this guy.

You nailed it with the "said that silent part again."

The cluelessness of these asshats is just gobsmacking. Then again, let these dumbasses keep yacking it up.

thinking about this kind of stuff. Social distancing has been unpleasant. It has been inconvenient. Going back to make the rich more money for capitalism? I really wish I had won a lottery at some point. I'd pick a region of the US, pay the bills that are making people go back to work to satisfy the "end the social distancing" bunch, so they could stay home in that region and refuse to reopen just to show the capitalist pigs who think that way why it is WRONG for them to think of us that way and treat us that way.

It's being kept on our knees by the fact that we are all "one paycheck away" from homelessness, that is making people go back to life as usual when this dangerous virus is out there spreading like crazy.

If one rich philanthropist wanted to teach the rich fuckers with attitudes like that a lesson, they could do it right now and we would be able to knock them back a little bit when they talk about us that way, ON TOP OF EVERYTHING ELSE. We have to hear how we are basically cattle to make them money so they can do who knows what with all that money we make for them, while we live in poverty and misery. Fuck them and their shit attitude. If they want to know why some of us want to retaliate against them, they need to go look in the mirror and say that stuff and think of it being directed at them. Yeah, call yourselves cattle in the mirror and see how much you like that, assholes.

Working a shovel in inclement weather on two plates of thin soup a day, under the supervision of people who've no particular interest in his remaining alive.

Give him some perspective on 'human stock', and the readiness of same to work...

....and with an out of context smile, which according to this body language expert, is always a cause for alarm:

Does the fact that Kevin Hassett is suppressing a smile the whole time he's talking about #HumanCapitalStock creep you out? It should. Smiling out of context should always set off alarm bells.

and are more disposable now that there are plenty of laid off workers to replace them.

I've been a service worker plenty of times before in my life. Many customers, bosses, family, and even myself knew that I was a worthless POS.

Which they get the payout for. Of course they want us dead as soon as possible.

A whole new class of people just became essential employees, and all the moguls can see is yet more $$$$$ attached to our asses.

IMHO they should be compelled to give the payout to the families.

And multiplied by three if the bosses' negligence caused the death.

That idiot didn’t deliberately insult the American people. He just said what he always thinks of us, but is too stupid to realize who he’s talking to. He will be the most surprised by our reaction because he thinks he’s defending our true wishes.

I can’t muster up any indignation at such obvious inferior intelligence. He’s just plain defective and fails as a human being.

Maybe we’ll be useful as Soylent Green.
