How long it will take for this country (maybe the world) to recover from the harm brought by tRump and his gang has been debated to death. We won’t know that horrific number until it happens. But Joe and Mika played a huge role in how we got here and can’t just renounce the Republican Party and start bad mouthing tRump and think they’re clean and pure. The very least they could do is start each show with 15 minutes of apologies and self flagellation with a barbed whip. And that’s just for starters.

But seriously, there is little they can do to make up for the harm but it would be an attempt to convey real remorse. It just makes me wonder if they really feel remorse or they are just trying to ease a very guilty conscience. It is a whole easier to sleep at night if you’re not wrestling with guilt.

these outlets go with the flow. If they "can" stay right of center they will certainly do so. If public opinion moves too much in one directions, they will adjust to go with it.

21. I don't mean to offend Morning Joe fans, but here it goes.

In earlier years, I’d get on the treadmill in the morning and watch Keith Olberman, CNN, MSNBC, and whatever political shows of my leaning were on the television. At the time, I was just becoming drawn in to the sphere of politics.

As time went on, I found myself souring to Scarborough. I can’t stand his relentless prattling on and on, talking for five minutes just to ask a question that anybody could answer, constantly shutting down Mika like she’s a Republican or something, and more content to listening to himself babble.

If I want to listen to someone rag on and on, I’ll just do something stupid around the house and let my loving wife of 50 years take it from there. (Much deserved on my part, dear)
