Update: appears to have been created for entertainment purposes per Snopes. I still think it's good for a smile.

(6,640 posts)they must love Costco as much as I do. And Costco treats their employees very well, I doubt if they want them to be exposed to a horrible virus.

(58,785 posts)I did find a Costco account, btw, which links to Costco. The only text is:
When they do, their Tweets will show up here.

(7,805 posts)the time my mother-in-law threw a fit in a department store because they didn't offer free alterations...she yelled that the store had lost her business forever...the manager smiled and said..."I'm sorry to hear that but could you step out of line because there are 6 customers behind you ready to take your place"...I told the manager I wanted to be her when I grow up

(8,907 posts)appreciate that Sharon & Jack won't shop there.
The fact that neither wants to wear a mask,
makes it impossible, for them to shop at CostCo anyway!

(4,290 posts)But will probably pay them a visit soon.
The last time I was there was during their early-hour-for-seniors interval, and had a much better experience there than I had at the local Publix. The Costco store had plenty of barriers in place to protect their associates (6 lines marked at checkout, plexiglass shields at checkout and exit), and the customers were well-behaved, observing social distancing guidance. Many wearing masks, as was I.
I get it: everyones under stress now, but good manners and observing safe, life-saving practices dont cost extra. Mind your manners!

(45,380 posts)the stores would be less crowded and the customers would be more civil and the employees would be happier.

(11,425 posts)Only about a fourth of the normal people there, i am in conservative town Medford OR.
I hope they miss it and come back, while nice it was scary no one was in line when I left. I did come early during senior hour but usually busy. Maybe more seniors here are republicans.

(62,379 posts)I live between two Costcos. Recently I have been going to the one that was once the least busy of the two. They have been pretty busy in the past few weeks.
Everybody was wearing a mask and I heard no complaints.

On edit: I don't care if its fake. I want it to be true.

(6,161 posts)So, Sharon and Jack, did you complain and boycott when they had a No-Shirt, No-Shoe No Service policy?
IF NOT WHY NOT? LET me guess the cult leader Trump didn't order his followers to protest.
NO Smoking rules are for the same reason to protect all of us, NON-SMOKERS.

(15 posts)The meme may be fake, but theres a boatload of these types of comments on the Costco Facebook page. Not sure why I looked as its quite infuriating
I have spent $1400 at Costco in April 2020. Most months I spend about the same. I will not comply. This violates my freedom and I wont participate!!
Hope this link is ok:
