"Nice and easy, nice and easy. Just relax." *trigger alert*

The trigger alert is serious, if abusive threatening language from a male abuser might trigger a response, be advised.

These are the words of a rapist in the middle of a crime, as calm as ever as he begins an attack.

I chills me to hear this, yet there's so much at stake I feel he needs to be called on this and every other instance.

Weijia Jiang will, I hope, go for the jugular in future pressers, if they let her back in.

Trump in his most natural abusive state:

I bet media schools will be using these press exchanges to teach their students how to handle a narcissistic autocratic leader, since I fear that Trump won't be the last.

minimize follow-up. She was being muffled. Brett Kavanaugh might have some insight into this technique.

trumps language reminds me of a very frightening incident I had, that I was able to escape from: "keep your voice down" "relax" - add to what was said directly to me "all I want is for you to be nice to me". Holy crap - trump uses the manipulative language of a rapist.

This from the guy always shouting down and interrupting reporters himself. They start to speak up and he’s like “relax”.

overtones, this is the way Trump has always dealt with the press--

The press exists only to glorify Trump and pass on his exalted words and deeds. It has no business talking about anything else, or, God Forbid, analyzing or commenting on said words or deeds.

Bad enough when he was a third class business loser, but now as President it is terrifying.

are we going to see our politicians insist on everyone wear a mask in public? Countries with the lowest infection rates per population require this. Want to get back to work and see all businesses open back up, then call/email all your politicians....city/state/national.

These are the words a sick abuser or sexual predator uses on his victims. Anyone who has experienced sexual abuse recognizes them. Trump is a predator/abuser.

She asked specific questions.

He pivoted to a similar, but unrelated topic to distract. Did not address the question.

He also bordered on Ad Hominem, by not address the question, but instead asking her to identify who she was and who she worked for, which has nothing to do with the question asked. This is a personal attack attempt, so his cult followers can send her threatening hate mail.

Disgusting. I want Biden allowed to treat Fox News in the same hostile fashion, only lay it on thick!
