Has been a big Republican talking point for years and years. So I did a little research and
went to this site: https://www.heritage.org/voterfraud . Who would know more about voter fraud than the Heritage foundation. Headlines: 1,277 cases and 1,102 convictions My oh may that a lot of fraud. But that is not just last year or the past five years. That is the past twenty years. goes all the way back to 1999.So 1,277 in twenty years, that's rounded to 64 cases a year. Divide that by fifty states and it comes to a massive 1.3 cases per state per year. Of those cases there was an 86% conviction rate. So now we have 1.1 convictions per state per year. Fucking massive.
To go back to find the number of voters per state per year, I will simplify and us the numbers from the 2016 presidential election. Big turnout to vote. Over 128,000,000 million people voted. A valid assumption would be that in a presidential election year, there would be more chance of voter fraud. So. just for shits and giggles, let us take the twenty year totals of voter fraud, 1,277 cases with 128,000,000 voters, that equals 0.00001% voter fraud.
So now we all know where the real fraud is coming from.
