Has anyone noticed that the number of people dying

as a percentage of those infected has been creeping up for the USA? That % is now at 4. The worldwide % is 6. We started out with a % of 2.3 just over a week ago. My belief is that we are headed up toward matching the world % sometime within the next two weeks.

3. US has third world health care for the 47%, but doctors & nurses do what they can to equalize.

Heroes (without regard to gender).

Unfortunately, the 47% are the most likely to get the disease because of having to work, often with no PPE.

4. It's natural that numbers succumbing would follow numbers identified.

As it doesn't kill instantly.

In any event, I think there's still way too many gaps in the data being collected from ununiform testing on live and on dead subjects to really know what the numbers are right now.

I'm watching it, like you, but not worried quite yet!

Maybe starting to see a few tiny lights at the end of so many tunnels.

we have no idea how many people are actually infected. This is what I do not understand about the numbers being thrown around. Yes, we are now Numero Uno in total cases but I think that number has to be much higher. How many people cannot get tested despite having symptoms or were closely exposed to someone who who did test positive. Then there is the fact that the number of deaths seem to be under-reported. Trump is doing everything he can to keep all of these numbers as low as possible.

11. I used published numbers. But I agree that those numbers are suspect.

In 1918, the Pandemic got it's famous name because Spain, which was neutral in the war, had a Press that freely and accurately reported the massive death count. Other countries, including the Woodrow Wilson led USA were lying about what was taking place. The 1918 Spanish Flu didn't originate in Spain, it is just Spain was the only country willing to acknowledge it's destruction.

Started at about 1.3 and yes now at 4. And I agree it will go to 6 (world) or 12 (Italy).
I really don't know where this will level out but hope for the best.
