Sorry folks, Covered California is Obamacare and it will not be adequate to our needs.
Let's hope that we win in November and that our new president recognizes that we need a whole different program.

(1,893 posts)I had to go down to bronze level coverage. If I get sick with this virus I will have to come up with a LOT of money somehow.
And now this.
I know there are so many people far more vulnerable than me who live in constant fear. It is a terrible way to live.
How anyone can oppose M4A and sleep at night is beyond me.

A Public Option, with significant subsidies, has a better chance and will get us to MFA quicker.

(2,193 posts)As much an improvement as it was, the ACA was as much a gift to the industry as it was a boon to those without care and those who could not get care. I'm glad it passed but it was only a step.
Now is the time, these are the circumstances, and somebody needs to step up and make it happen!
