Immediately announce new impeachment inquiries, send out subpoenas, hold hearings and get the entire process started again. It's not a strategy, it's their sworn duty to confront Executive misbehavior and they have tons to work with here.

(15,769 posts)This was on everyday for a month between the house and senate. I would say begin in July.

(11,730 posts)Doing so immediately would appear to be completely political and would feed into the idea that Democrats are just irrationally trying to go after Trump. The results would also likely be the same with the Senate acquitting without an impartial trial.
The House has ongoing investigations and continues to seek to hear from witnesses. They should continue to do so and when something actionable comes up, then they should follow the Constitutional procedures including another impeachment inquiry.

The American People deserve to hear what he has to say and not have to wait for a book.
It can be done and explained as a duty to counteract the dereliction of duty in the house. Hell, I would have done it last week just to put him on record during the same time frame and before the vote.

Like I said, they should keep up the pressure and the search for facts and truth. I just don't think that it should be couched in terms of impeachment right away.
