The many ways Gordon Sondland was STILL full of shit

“We did not want to work with Mr. Giuliani. Simply put, we played the hand we were dealt. We all understood that if we refused to work with Mr. Giuliani, we would lose an important opportunity to cement relations between the United States and Ukraine. So we followed the President’s orders.”

SO FULL OF SHIT.

1) How would forcing Ukraine to do something it had no willingness to do "cement" a relationship except as a pawn for any slimy thing trump wanted them to do?

and more importantly:

2) No, extorting Ukraine was obviously NOT the only way to get the military aid and meeting they wanted, as PROVEN subsequently by trump's fearful release of the funds once the whistleblower came forward. All you had to do, Mr. Sondland, was to grow some balls and come forward yourself to the public and/or Congress about trump's scheme. It's quite obvious you were a VERY WILLING participant in the extortion.

The hand you were dealt? Give me a fucking break, you coward.

"ASAP Rocky was the primary purpose of the phone call."

You're a fucking liar, Mr. Sondland.

It wasn't even the first item of discussion on the call. Nobody gives a rat's ass about some obscure rapper. The TRUTH of the matter is that you came out of a morning meeting with the Ukrainian envoy and COULDN'T WAIT to pass along the good news to trump that they were going to acquiesce to the extortion demands. It was YOU, not Mr. Zelensky, who loves trump's ass.... that was mere projection, as proven by your desire to have the restaurant know you had his lovable ass on the phone.

"I only found out later that Burisma meant the Bidens."

YOU FUCKING LIAR.

ANYBODY with just a tiny bit of brains would have asked at the time "Why Burisma?" And that goes double for somebody who purports to be an ambassador. Give me a fucking break, you fucking liar.

Oh, what would be the point of going further with this? I give up.

that if the pResident and all his associates were doing it then it was perfectly OK.

He's an obvious mental lightweight.

4. Sondland is in this thing way over his head. He was a rich guy who bought an ambassadorship,

which happens too often anyhow, but at least those purchased ambassadorships are usually to small, obscure, harmless countries. But in Trump's kakistocracy this appointment was for the very important EU - and then Sondland, who doesn't know shit about international diplomacy, is sent to Ukraine, which isn't even in the EU, to help Rudy do a "deal" on Fat Nixon's orders. When the whole mess collapsed with Sondland in the middle, he found himself in front of a House committee trying to explain at least semi-truthfully what had happened in a way that wouldn't get him done for perjury and would still keep Trump from firing him - which could still happen, since even with all of Sondland's waffling and dissembling he did manage to implicate the boss.

5. I Also Believe That The Call He Talked About Where Trump Said....
Sat Nov 23, 2019, 12:32 PM

that he wants 'no quid pro quo and he only wants PresZ to do his job' - was a set up. They knew about the whistleblowers claims before that call was made and the call was made to give them cover. It was a complete set-up.

Isn't it interesting that with all the incriminating things that Sondland said in his opening statement - that all in the WH were involved and that there was 'quid pro quo' - that Trump only gravitated to this call between him and Sondland where he says he wants 'no quid pro quo and he only wants PresZ to do his job'?

Trump is using that call like he used Barr's summary of the Mueller Report where he said - No Collusion - No Obstruction.

They thought if they could get away with discrediting the Mueller Report like they did - that they could do the same thing with this Impeachment Inquiry.

6. Do we have to believe that call actually took place?

I mean, he was quite eager to have Holmes hear the "he loves your ass" phone call.... wouldn't it have served their cause to have somebody alongside Sondland hear "no quid pro quo", too?
