If I was impregnated due to rape, I have been told I need to get over it that a Dem Governor may

very well soon sign a bill (Bel Edwards) in Louisiana that would potentially put me in prison for an abortion. I have been told to accept this due to the fact that Louisiana is a Red State and that he will do a bit of good on other fronts.

FUCK THAT SHIT.

If this is the length we are now going to go to as a Party, I am beyond dismayed. It is OUTRAGEOUS that we will now submit to one of our own signing goddamn anti-human rights level legislation in order to claim a damn 'D' after the name of a governor. I will be FUCKED if I acquiesce to this rot in the name of political expediency. I do not give a DAMN if the calculation/rationalisation is that it would would A-OK for him to do this if the SCOTUS (a different SCOTUS ,with Clintonian appointees) would smash it down. NO IT WOULD NOT make it ok! No one put a bloody gun to his head to sign this ROT and anyone who signs into law a bill that gives the government to right to make me carry to term a rape pregnancy is FUCKED. Seriously, they can FUCK RIGHT OFF.

If this gets me banned, then I go leaving you all knowing I AM RIGHT!

Bel Edwards, the willing enabler of RADICAL Rethug xians MONSTERS, can fuck right off. My fucking womb, all women's wombs and our collective fundamental body/reproductive autonomy are NEVER up for political gamesmanship (I say gamesmanship because almost all of these bastards are MEN) and Machiavellian bargains!!!!!!

I was living in Louisiana at the time. Any Democrat could've won that election because no one, not even some of the most hard-core RWNJ's, wanted David Vitter as governor. Everyone knew that he would never be able to escape the scandal of his history of wearing diapers with prostitutes. He would never be taken seriously.

jill Stein should have admitted to being a right winger the way bel Edwards does instead of pretending to be liberal while attacking actual pro choice Democrats who would protect choice.

jill Stein is a trashy right wing troll that supports Putin and Trump .

Replies that are entirely non germane to the underlying fundamental nature of Bel Edwards' hatred of women (for it is HATE that makes him sign this bill, hate from both internal and external levels), as well as profoundly telling of your seemingly your cavalier attitude when it comes to basic human rights within the gender/reproductive sphere.

That is some of the most fucked up logic I have seen in my entire 23 years on this mortal coil. It is seriously twisted as fuckall!

YOU are literally saying that if the SCOTUS outcome were somehow guaranteed to have a potentially different outcome that Bel Edwards gets a fucking pass for his attempts to imprison us via his likely signature!!

I am bloody outraged, more than I have ever been on this board since I joined that I am being subjected to this tosh, this entirely false obfuscation and rationalisation.

in a state where there is large enough percentage of mouth-breathing, knuckle-dragging, inbred troglodytes that the state legislature feels the need to pander to, well...those women must pay for the sins of Jill Stein for being an asshole.

HERE IS THE BOTTOM LINE. Even if President Hillary Clinton was sitting in the Oval Office today, these anti-abortion bills would be passing through all of these state houses like shit through a goose. "BUT WAIT", you say, "Hillary would have placed two of her own choices on the Supreme Court!!!"

Think about that statement again, and then think about who's in charge of the Senate right now. He specifically stated that he would hold those seats open through 8 years of a Democratic President if he had to.

Oh, K&R for sure.

there was something where Roberts voted with the liberal leaning justices.

but either way the liberal leaning side would still have had more justices with mm refusing to confirm.

my point is peoples attempts to claim no difference is bs.

part is being in power is just about preventing shitty things from happening .
