General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsWe just had a good sized shaker here in So Cal.
I was working at my desk at home, and I heard a window or something click, and felt a slight sway (like a dizzy spell).
Thought nothing of it, then about 10 seconds later, WHAM.
I just stocked up on water last month, so I feel better about that.

(12,640 posts)Hopefully just a local "burp" on an outlier fault, though at 16 km, it might be an indicator of movement on the Pacific plate.
We've stocked up on water because we got notice they're turning it off tomorrow to work on the complex water main.

The building has state of the art quake protection and rollers so the building started to sway.
I called it a day and went home.
